This class teaches algorithms for reasoning about spatial data: including search, intersection, and spatial decomposition. The class is geared towards computer science students, and recommends CS241 as a pre-requisite, but is open to anyone with permission of the instructor, and has successfully included art, mathematics, and earth-and-planetary science students in the past.
